The raw materials are common red/yellow/white clay, crushed stone, sand, fly ash, cement waste, slag, and other inorganic substances. After being collected, they are color-separated and ground into microscopic powder. The particles are modified with a special surfactant that ensures each particle is coated with an active substance in a mesh-like multi-layer structure, transforming it into an ecological environmental material at low temperature. This material is referred to as “econic clay” in English-speaking countries. In the Chinese industry standard, it is called “modified clay materials-MCM.”

Since this material was invented by PHOMI, it is also referred to as “PHOMI econic clay material.”
