1. Who publishes this policy?

The website is operated by Bakır Dış Ticaret Limited Şirketi under the “PHOMI Türkiye” brand. Bakır Dış Ticaret Limited Şirketi is the data controller for the processing of your personal data.

2. What information do we collect?

You do not need to provide any personal information to browse the website. Information is shared only in transactions that you initiate:

  • Contact / quote form: your full name, company name, e-mail address, phone number, type of request and the content of your message.
  • Information you share and the content of correspondence when you contact us by e-mail, phone or WhatsApp.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser and device information (user-agent), the page from which you submitted the form, your selected language and the time of the transaction. This data is stored together with the form record for security purposes and to prevent unsolicited submissions (spam).
  • Limited data collected through cookies (see the Cookie Policy for details).

3. Why do we use your information?

  • To respond to your requests and to carry out the quote and sample process,
  • To communicate with you about products, applications and technical support,
  • To ensure the security of the website and to prevent misuse and spam,
  • To maintain the site experience (for example, remembering your language preference),
  • To fulfill our legal obligations and to protect our rights in the event of potential disputes.

We do not sell or rent your data to third parties for marketing purposes. If we need to send commercial electronic messages, we do so only with your consent and in accordance with the applicable legislation.

4. With whom do we share your information?

Your data is shared only for the purposes stated above and only to the extent necessary:

  • Infrastructure and software providers from whom we obtain services for website hosting, e-mail delivery and technical maintenance,
  • Authorized public institutions and organizations that request it under the legislation,
  • Professional advisors from whom we obtain legal, financial and tax advisory services.

Some of our service providers may be located abroad. In such cases, the transfer is carried out in accordance with Article 9 of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”). Details are provided in the KVKK Privacy Notice.

5. How long do we keep your information?

We keep your form and correspondence records for as long as necessary to resolve your request and for the applicable statutory limitation periods. At the end of that period, your data is deleted, destroyed or anonymized. Technical records (for example, IP addresses) are kept only for as long as needed for security purposes.

6. How do we protect your data?

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss and misuse: encrypted connections (HTTPS), role-based access, security headers, protection against unsolicited submissions on forms and regular updates. Nevertheless, we remind you that no data transmission over the internet is entirely free of risk.

7. Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have rights such as learning whether your data is being processed, requesting information if it has been processed, and requesting its correction or deletion. 8. Third-party links

Our website may contain links to, or embedded content from, third-party services such as Instagram, WhatsApp and YouTube. The privacy practices of these services are subject to their own policies; we are not responsible for the practices of those sites.

9. Children’s privacy

Our website is not directed at persons under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy in line with legal regulations or changes in our services. The current text is always published on this page; the “Last updated” date at the top of the page indicates when the change was made.
